In the Room
It's a family friendly place. I have 2 kids that are 1 and 3. So having a microwave and refrigerator are very important to me. It's a very comfortable place to stay.
The only complaint I have is that the Internet is slow. Even with a direct connection to the modem.
it's not that convinient without a car
Continental breakfast and friendly staff.
Price could be a little reasonable
The room was bright, spacious and clean. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast was quite good and the value was incredible! I would stay there again.
It was quiet
Did not enforce no smoking policy
It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will return in July.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room is spacious (2 queen beds), with refrigerator, micro-wave, and even a sink, which was really useful. The breakfast is good for the price.
The noise by the ac made it almost impossible to get a restful night sleep. We had to turn it off, which turned the room uncomfortable.
The staff was extremely pleasant and acted like they were genuinely grateful that we were staying at the hotel. The room was cleaned to an appropriate level.
The television in the room was old and the screen way to dark to watch many movies. The King size bed was very uncomfortable and the springs were well worn. Worst 3 nights of sleep I have had in a long time. The internet was unreliable and made it impossible for me to do any work.
The pillows were the size of postage stamps, we lumpy and very uncomfortable. The free breakfast was the worst I had ever eaten. The eggs and bacon had to be thrown out as they were not edible.
Wi-Fi, the breakfast offered and the friendliness of the office staff.
The room was comfortable, good breakfast, I would stay here again.
A bit noisy from street and walkers
In fact hotel is reasonably maintained for this price. Rooms are surprisingly clean and not very old furniture. Overall nice style (photos are accurate enough). If you need to do many visits on other side of the Bay, this is convenient location. Good parking. Breakfast is well acceptable for the hotel of this level of quality. Soundproofing is good enough, but it doesn't help of course , if you got the room right on the road.
1) They ignore Booked.net guest preferences and part of this hotel is LOUD place. I asked for the silent room when I booked 2 weeks in advance. As a result: they gave me the MOST LOUD room, which in fact is super noisy due to the big road near the window. It happened because I arrived relatively late (9-10 PM) and all silent room were over. Of COURSE they didn't look at Booked.net guests preferences before my arrival (I noticed it). So BEWARE: IF you want good sleep and you hope that your Booked.net note (or email to hotel) will help, then it's a big mistaken and effectively a risk taking. Either arrive early, or do NOT choose this hotel (or tolerate bad sleep). 2) Again, some rooms in hotel are quiet, but others are very noisy in the morning. If you get up at 5 AM, or if you are lucky with room - then it's fine. 3) This is a" Silicon Valley poor man hotel" - i.e. it's a cheap hotel in relatively poor neighborhood. Taking in mind the price and location it could be even worse experience, but they try to maintain it more or less reasonably.Prepare to tolerate some strange people in neighbor room 4) The drain in bathroom was not clean, the hair dryer was broken on second day. Don't expect shampoo exchange by default. So, if they give me the good room, I'd maybe say: OK, you got what you paid for. But now I don't really want to excuse all these cheap hotel nuances at all, and write them in my review.
I liked that they had a magnification mirror for putting on make-up. I use one at home. The bed was always made and clean towels. Rooms were spacious
There are power line towers close by. Backyard. The carpet looked worn and not real clean. Had very noisy neighbors .Second night had to call down to office and the noise stopped.
Cleanliness and breakfast
WiFi didn't work, rooms were. on busy ,noisy street next to ice machine and equipment room. A miserable night and night clerk wouldn't move us. Next night we were moved to quieter rooms where WiFi worked in one room and traffic noise was lessened.
